About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team, focusing on the backend development of our online casino gaming platform. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in building robust and scalable web applications, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of the online gaming industry. You will collaborate closely with our mobile application team to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems for our online casino gaming platform using PHP and related technologies
Collaborate with the mobile application team to create and maintain efficient APIs and data structures.
Develop and implement secure and reliable systems for handling financial transactions and user data.
Ensure compliance with relevant gaming regulations and security standards.
Optimize application performance for high traffic and real-time data processing.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the online gaming platform.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making related to the backend of the mobile applications.
Maintain and improve existing codebases, especially regarding the stability and security of the gaming platform.
Write and maintain unit and integration tests, with a focus on testing the specific logic of the online casino games.

requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Extensive experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases.
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with mobile development teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with automated testing is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in the online casino gaming industry.
Knowledge of gaming regulations and security standards.
Experience with payment gateway integrations.
